Zac Morrow has decades of experience working with trades and businesses in construction, gaining valuable experience and qualifications in design, pre-start, sales, finance, development strategy, site safety and project management.
Zac founded Build Insight WA on the premise that if you are spending hundreds of thousands, or millions of dollars, you should have someone working in your best interest throughout the project. The building industry is set up in a way that makes it difficult to ensure that you are working with the right people or companies at each stage of the project, and there aren't enough regulations to protect yourself from all the risks.
Zac can talk for hours about the inherent conflicts of interest in the industry, the exorbitant sales commissions paid by builders, underhanded kickbacks and referrals and the lack of simple, straightforward regulations to protect clients and improve the quality of construction in Perth and surrounds.
Outside work he's a husband and involved dad, supporting his teenage children with their education and sporting ambitions, while also volunteering his time for various organisations.

Every recommendation we put on paper is the one we'd make if it were our own house, our own block or our own balance sheet. If a project involves too much risk, we say so. If we think our design could be improved, we bring it up. If a builder will bring value to the project by being introduced early, we say that too. It's the only way we work.
We do not accept any secret referrals, kickbacks or undisclosed fees in relation to our clients' projects. Being genuine and transparent is very important to us. Most people don't realise how much builder's sales reps are paid. We are upfront from the start, and once people understand how the industry works, they feel much better knowing they are paying less than they would have to someone employed by the builder.
